Reiki is a gentle, relaxing energy healing modality that supports your mind, body, and spirit. Your session will take place on a standard massage table where you will be supported by pillows for your comfort. Reiki activates the parasympathetic nervous system, suppressing your 'fight or flight' response so your body can relax. This shift into a meditative state gives your body the ability to begin a natural healing process. This shift is associated with various benefits, including reduced stress, improved health, and support for physical and emotional healing. The longer the session, the deeper you can heal. ** Please note that your session duration is not active reiki time. A 30 min session is approx. 25 mins of active reiki and a 5 minute window for brief discussion; a 60 min session includes 50 mins of active reiki and 10 minutes for pre-post treatment discussions. 30 minute sessions are best for: 🌿 Stress relief - fast way to calm your nervous system and re-center during a busy day 🌿 Minor issues - working a specific focus area, such as a headache, sore knee, or feeling drained 🌿 Introduction to Reiki / first time session 60 minute sessions are considered more of the full body treatment. Your practitioner can cover all major energy points on both the front and back of the body to ensure a more thorough treatment. This is best for: 🌿 Relaxation - gives your body & mind enough time to fully relax and release tension 🌿 Balancing energy - allows for deeper work on multiple energy centers and removing blockages 🌿 Releasing suppressed emotions and significant spiritual blockages 90 minute sessions are energetically intensive sessions. This is best used for 🌿 Deep relaxation - provides a more profound state of tranquility, as the extra time allows the body and mind to completely unwind 🌿 Thorough aura cleansing and energetic cord-cuttings 🌿 Past Life healing & exploration 🌿 Addressing more complex or chronic physical and emotional issues. The extended time allows for more comprehensive work and a deeper state of calm These sessions are great when paired with other healing modalities such as talk therapy/psychotherapy, especially for those healing through acute PTSD, cPTSD and other trauma related situations.
