My locs may look unruly until I make my way to @zaras_locksfromlove next month, but camp life does not equal dirty dreads. A blow up hair basin, @locsanity detox soak accompanied by a good scrubbing (w/ reiki by @rogueturtle_smith ) and an ACV rinse will keep my scalp healthy & the locs clean!

And the view is pretty relaxing 🤩🤩🤩

Reiki isn’t something you have to be “gifted” to do. You don’t have to be psychic or come from a family lineage of healers. No waiting around to feel “ready enough.” It’s simply a skill, a practice… something you can just learn. No prior knowledge or any sort of background is needed.

To be a successful reiki practitioner, all you need is a willingness to show up, get out of your own way, and remember that our bodies already know what to do to heal. You’re just giving it the space to do so and guiding the energy where it will be most beneficial.

This work isn’t reserved for a select few… it’s available to anyone who feels called to it. Men, women, adults, children…. We are all able to channel Reiki energy. Reiki energy…. Life energy… it’s for everyone.

And yes…. I teach distance reiki using a teddy bear surrogate 😂

The one thing I truly miss from the shop is the discussions. Every day someone one came in with a question - about spellcraft, spirituality, religion, healing, energy work, crystals….. you name it, we’ve probably discussed it.

Goodbye house. For 1,456 days you protected us, held us energetically, gave us a home base during our travels.

You allowed us to house others who needed a place to stay, feed friends and family, to honour our ancestors in ritual and heal through our wounds. For that we will be forever grateful.

You were where I spiritually “grew up”. I am thankful for that blessing.

Now we move onto the next space; to integrate all that we have learned and experienced over the last four years. A four month crash course on intimate RV life. this is nothing I have ever done but I cannot think of anything else I’d rather be doing. The fear and uncertainty of my ability to do this is quickly dissipating. This is our life and I absolutely love this journey for us.

Reiki in YOUR space.
Want to introduce your family to reiki? I am now offering family classes in the comfort of your own home. There is a great benefit to kids being attuned to reiki energy. We all naturally have a connection to energy (our bodies are energy, after all).

Reiki can give them:
• A simple way to calm themselves (hands on heart, belly, etc.)
• A sense of control over their emotional state
• A non-verbal way to process overwhelm
• A chance to respond rather than just react to situations
• Better communication (w/ parents, teachers, peers, etc)

It also helps them be more in-tune with their own bodies. Reiki can help them with:
• Recognizing tension, discomfort, or anxiety earlier
• Understanding “something feels off” vs. ignoring it
• Developing mind-body connection early in life
• Feeling safe in their body

A lot of us Gen-Xers and “Elder Millenials” had the luxury of a more grounded childhood. Screentime and just the state of the world has our kids and grandkids growing up with stresses that we can’t fully comprehend at times. Thankfully there is a push for self-care, body autonomy and getting back to trusting our intuition with our own wellness. We can give you & your kiddos a jumpstart on focusing on whole self care prevention rather than just treating symptoms after the issue arises.

It was a peaceful day of learning, meditation, hands-on practice, and connection with the Reiki energy.

Reiki is not something we “do,” but something we allow to move through us… and it’s always beautiful to witness someone open to that flow for the first time. Watching them step into their own healing journey and open themselves to becoming a channel for Reiki is always such an honor. I’m so excited to see where this path leads her.

I am doing two reiki certification classes in April. For either weekend, Saturday will be Reiki I and Sunday will be Reiki II. Depending on where you are in your certification process, you can book Level I, Level II or both (can be done on the same weekend or split across both weekends).

This is for Holy Fire Reiki. If you wish to have a traditional attunement for Usui Tibetan Reiki, that option is also available. Each class includes a manual, hands-on teaching and a certificate of completion.

I am a certified member of both the International Center for Reiki Training as well as the International Association of Reiki Professionals.

Pricing: Reiki I - $125, Reiki II - $250
50% dep required to hold your space. Class sizes are limited. Discount for prepaying both classes in full.

It was such an amazing weekend up in Indiana! I was graciously welcomed up north to train under an incredibly skilled RMT & sound healer 🥹💕✨ I truly feel so lucky and grateful to be able to expand my current Usui Reiki skillset to include Traditional Tibetan techniques as well as some shamanic energy practices.

Reiki is part of the growing movement toward Holistic Integrative Medicine and is the way wellness and health management is heading! The Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Cedars-Seini, Duke Medical, and dozens of other major hospital centers have Integrative Medicine Departments that offer reiki to patients and staff alike.
