Smoke cleansing, commonly known as "smudging" is the sacred act of burning plant material—such as white sage, cedar, palo santo, or mugwort—to clear stagnant energy, invite blessings, and connect with spirit.
 
When to Smudge:
Before meditation, ritual, or energy work
After arguments, illness, or intense emotions
When moving into a new home or clearing a space
During the New or Full Moon, Sabbats, or seasonal transitions
To reset and ground yourself energetically
 
This practice has roots in many Indigenous and Earth-based traditions and should always be approached with reverence and intention.
